Practicum

If you have registered for the Credit Small Drinking Water Systems of the Ontario Version of the course, then you must complete the Practicum component as well as the online course.

The purpose of the Practicum is to provide you with an opportunity to apply what you are learning in the online course to your water system. You will be completing a series of ‘micro-assignments’. Once completed, you will not only have a much better understanding of the material in the course, but you will also have a draft water system management plan to use at your facility.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

1. You will receive a copy of the Practicum in Word and PDF format via email.
2. Keep it beside the computer as you do the course.
3. As you complete the course, you will be required to do Practicum Assignments which are indicated by the image located above.
4. Once you have finished the online course and the practicum assignments, please send the completed Practicum to the Course Administrator for evaluation.

5. The course and the Practicum component must be completed within 30 days of receiving your username and password and the Practicum.
