TIPS FOR USING THE TRAINING PROGRAM
Important: To properly view and complete
this course, at a minimum, users must have:
A 56 Kb modem access to the Internet.
Flash
Player 7.0 installed (if you see the blue image on your right,
you already have Flash Player 7.0 on your computer).
FLASH
Throughout the course you will encounter Flash scenarios. Simply click
Play to begin. Once you have finished, click NEXT to proceed
to the following page.
ARE YOU HAVING PROBLEMS SEEING THE FLASH ANIMATIONS?
If
you have a High Security level on your web browser, you will not
be able to view the animations. Please follow these steps to reduce
your security level. You should then be able to see the Flash animations.
Click Start > Settings > Control Panel.
Double click Internet Options.
Select the Security tab.
Click Custom Level.
From the Reset custom settings drop-down menu, select Medium.
From the Settings window, make the following changes to the ActiveX
controls and plugins (there are 5 sections):
1st section - Select: Prompt
2nd section - Select: Disable
3rd section - Select: Disable
4th section - Select: Enable
5th section - Select: Enable
Click OK.
TIPS FOR SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETING AN ONLINE
TRAINING PROGRAM
Schedule a block of time to do the course, you may prefer to do it in
half hour sittings.
Take notes for future use and to prepare for the final test.
Avoid distractions:
Turn off your email.
Turn off your phone.
Close your door and/or hang up a do not disturb sign.
COMPLETING A MODULE
Once you have completed the last quiz question in each module, click on the title of the next module you would like to complete in the left navigation menu.
COMPLETING THE TRAINING PROGRAM
To
complete the training program, you have to finish all mandatory
modules and pass the final test.
CLICKING ON LINKS
There are links to the support Web site or other sites on the Internet
throughout the course. When you click on a link, a new window will
open up on your screen and you will be able to see the module page
you are completing located behind it. To close the window, click
on the X in the top right corner. You will then see the module page
in full.

We suggest you bookmark this support Web site to make it easier
to access the online course. To log into the course, click on the
COURSE button in the top left corner and enter your username
and password when prompted. If you have any problems logging in,
please contact us.
SCREEN SIZE
This course is best viewed with 800 by 600 pixel resolution. If
you cant see the full page on your screen, you need to change the
resolution of your computer monitor. Please follow these simple steps:
Click Start > Settings > Control Panel.
Double-click Display.
Select the Settings tab.
Under Screen Area (or Screen resolution), move the toggle
to 800 by 600 pixels.
Click OK.
DO YOU WANT TO INCREASE THE SIZE OF YOUR WINDOW?
When
you read a page in a module, a new window opens up. As you will
notice, you cannot maximize the page by clicking on the square image
found in the top right-hand corner of that window. If you want the
window to occupy your entire screen:
From the top part of your keyboard, press F11.
To decrease the window size, press F11.
DO YOU WANT TO INCREASE THE FONT SIZE?
If the text you are reading is too small or too big, follow these instructions:
From your Internet browser's menu bar, click View > Text
Size.
Select the text size you would like to use.
PRINTING
The full screen is used to display text however some text may not be printed
out in full if you do not set your printing options to 'Landscape.
To do this, follow these instructions:
In the page you would like to print, right-click and select Print.
When the grey dialogue box opens, select the Layout tab.
Under Orientation, select the radio button beside the word
Landscape.
