Canoeing Canoeing on Cameron Lake, Waterton Lakes National Park of Canada.

Taking pictures Many people will go to great lengths to get the perfect shot, climb the best peak, hike the best trail, kayak the best rapids, etc... it is easy for visitors who are passionate about the activities they do in the parks to pay too little attention to ecological integrity issues (e.g. walking off trails, crossing barriers, approaching wildlife).

Looking through binoculars. Backcountry hiking along the Tamarak Trail, Waterton Lakes National Park of Canada. Using binoculars is both a good way to see nature from the hiking trail (without trampling vegetation) and to check for bears and bear signs (visitor safety).

Gone fishing Fishing at one of the Twin Lakes (a backcountry campground), along the Tamarak Trail in Waterton Lakes National Park of Canada.

Sheep A lamb is the focus of visitors travelling along the Bow Valley Parkway. Bighorn sheep are quite accustomed to human traffic and are frequently on and along the parkway.
